Dear Friends,
La Mortella garden here on the volcanic island of Ischia, Italy is dense and profuse. It is tropical at the entry level, and as you ascend, becomes arid Mediterranean which is unique. There is the rare specimen of the Victoria Amazon Lily, shown here. This garden’s water subjects have become my focus. Truly one of the beautiful gardens of Italy and I’m enjoying the garden island!
